Coach Megan Bisbee | Mountain Beach Academy
Coach Megan Bisbee is a founder of Mountain Beach Academy and plays a central role in building the vision and culture of the program. A lifelong volleyball player and coach, Megan brings years of competitive experience and a deep passion for athlete development to the academy.
Megan played volleyball at Richland High School in Richland, Washington, earning Second Team All-Conference honors her senior year. She continued her career at Shoreline Community College, where she competed from 2003–2005 and earned multiple Defensive Player of the Week recognitions.
Her coaching career began shortly after college with Space Needle Volleyball Club in Seattle, and she has continued coaching youth athletes for many years through club programs and local parks and recreation leagues. Most recently, Megan has coached indoor volleyball with CPA Volleyball Club, where she works with developing athletes and helps them grow their confidence and skills on the court.
In 2022, Megan and co-founder David Chapman began building Mountain Beach Academy from the ground up on their family property in Spokane, Washington. What started as a vision quickly became a reality through thousands of hours of hands-on work developing the sand courts and training environment that athletes use today.
At Mountain Beach Academy, Megan focuses on creating a positive, hardworking culture where athletes feel supported while being challenged to grow. Her goal is to help players develop strong fundamentals, compete with confidence, and build a lasting love for the game.
